Some of the science “experts” who played a major role in advising the U.S. government on COVID-19 pandemic guidance have claimed to be nonpartisan, but more examples disproving that claim are emerging by the day.
According to exclusive audio obtained by The Daily Wire, President Joe Biden’s new science advisor and former National Institutes of Health (NIH) director Francis Collins, accidentally outed his political motives in the damning audio clip, in which he can not only be heard blaming former President Donald Trump for COVID deaths, but also laughing at the prospect of threatening Americans’ jobs if they refuse to get vaccinated.
The audio reportedly came from a private University of Chicago event held last October during which Collins rattled off a number of off-topic opinions on a wide range of issues, including his pro-mandate position and insisting that threatening the careers of unvaccinated Americans was the best approach to scare them into getting a shot.
Unsurprisingly, the bombshell report hasn’t gained any attention in the corporate mainstream media.
For a man who once claimed that he and Dr. Anthony Fauci didn’t have “political positions,” his outburst at the university event clearly proved otherwise.
“The US government does have the authority to mandate vaccinations if there is an outbreak that is threatening people, because it’s not just about you, it’s about the people you’re going to infect,” Collins said.
He added: “Do [mandates] convince people who otherwise wouldn’t get them?” He answered his own question, adding, “Oh yeah, especially if it means losing your job.”
The physician went on to claim that he believed many Americans secretly wanted to take the COVID vaccine, but only resisted out of peer pressure, offering no evidence to back such an allegation.
On that note, he argued in favor of employer mandates, as he claimed that it could give vaccine-resistant Americans an excuse to go ahead and take the shot, providing them cover for their social circles.
The doctor wasn’t finished there, though, as he went on to specifically attack Evangelical Christians, who he believed took the idea of freedom and personal liberty too personal, saying they’ve “wrapped themselves in the flag and wrapped themselves in this concept of personal freedom, that public health just grates on them.”
Sources in attendance at the event told The Daily Wire that Collins, and other speakers, spoke much more freely at the event because they weren’t being officially recorded. That’s usually when the truth emerges, as it did in this case.
This is just another example proving that the “experts” behind the Biden administration’s pandemic response team are some of the most partisan hacks on Capitol Hill, and don’t ever let anyone try to convince you otherwise.
