Joe Biden gave a sarcastic response Wednesday when asked if he will serve a full second term, snarling, "Did you fall on your head or something?"
Biden's re-election bid has been clouded by doubts about his age and persisting rumors that he will be replaced by another Democrat, either before the election or during a second term.
Biden was asked the question while taking a group photo on the tarmac.
A reporter shouted at him over the noise of Biden's jet, asking, “Will you be serving your full four-year term or handing your power over to Vice President Harris?”
Biden scowled in response and pointed at his head, shouting, "Are you OK? Are you all right? You’re not hurt, are you?”
The reporter asked Biden to move closer, but Biden ignored him and added, "Did you fall on your head or something?'”

Biden has been known to get grumpy when asked pointed questions about his age and job performance.
He has sometimes referred to Vice President Harris as his boss, and she has played a more prominent role recently as a campaign surrogate, fueling speculation about her future role.
Like Biden, Harris is an unpopular figure, which has led to considerable anxiety among Democrats searching for a secure successor.
Politico reported that Democrats are in a "freakout" over Biden's re-election prospects, as voters reject Biden's economic optimism.
“Donors ask me on an hourly basis about what I think," a top operative said, adding, it's “so much easier to show them, so while they read it, I can pour a drink.”
“The list of why we ‘could’ win is so small, I don’t even need to keep the list on my phone."
The election is likely to be another close contest, and Democrats are concerned about signs that their electoral coalition is fraying.
Trump has been leading Biden in the polls, although it is uncertain whether that will change in the wake of Trump's conviction for "hush money." Trump has dismissed the verdict as a form of election interference.
