Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, just made a humiliating confession.
During an interview with CBS News, Hunter revealed that at the height of his drug addiction, he smoked Parmesan cheese thinking it was actually crack cocaine, Breitbart reported.
In an interview that aired on CBS Sunday Morning, reporter Tracy Smith asked Hunter about his drug problem.
“You wake up some mornings — I shouldn’t even say some mornings because you slept 15 minutes at a time and be looking for crack and to smoke whatever was there?” Smith asked.
“I spent more time on my hands and knees picking through rugs smoking anything that resembled crack cocaine,” Biden replied. “I probably smoked more Parmesan cheese than anyone — than anyone you know, Tracy.”
“Because there would be crumbs mixed in?” Smith asked. “Yeah,” Biden said, adding, “I went one time for 13 days without sleeping, and smoking crack, and drinking vodka exclusively throughout that entire time.”
Hunter was also asked during the interview about the federal investigation into his taxes that is being led by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware. “There is a current Department of Justice investigation into your finances. What is it about? Can you say anything more?” Smith asked.
While Biden said he couldn’t comment on the investigation, he claimed that is is “100% certain that at the end of the investigation I will be cleared of any wrongdoing.”
To emphasize the point, Smith asked, “You are 100 percent certain you will be cleared?” to which Biden responded, “I am 100% certain of it, and all I can do is cooperate and trust in the process.”
Biden’s romantic relationship
According to Fox News, Biden also admitted during the interview that he convinced his father Joe Biden to put out a public statement approving his relationship with Hallie Biden, the widow of his late brother Beau.
Biden was reluctant at first, according to Hunter, but he eventually conceded.
“We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness,” Biden said at the time. “They have mine and Jill’s full and complete support and we are happy for them.”
