Civilized people oppose anti-Semitism as racist, bigoted and wrong, says Joe Biden, America’s president.
So the same civilized people should oppose bans on transgender surgeries, those operating room processes that mutilate the otherwise healthy bodies of children, according to his thought process.
After all, aren’t they similar?
The two positions, opposing anti-Semitism and promoting transgenderism for kids, are equivalents, he expressed in a report at Breitbart.
He explained, specifically, that all of those negative traits are “connected.”
That would include racism, anti-Semitism, homophobia, and transphobia.
His target, of course, is the laws adopted in various states, often led by Republicans, that prevent doctors from doing those irreversible and damaging transgender procedures on children.
Biden claims that attitude – the protection of children – is transphobic and inspired by hate.
Biden charged, the report said, “We need to challenge the hundreds of callous and cynical laws introduced in the states targeting transgender children, terrifying families, and criminalizing doctors who give children the care they need.”
Leftists across America now have adopted that talking point – that mutilating transgender surgeries are part of the treatment that people “need,” and that such care is “life-affirming” or even “life-saving.”
Biden wants all “Republican laws banning gender transitioning treatments for children” eliminated.
He characterized his arguments as trying to help children.
“We have to protect these children so they know they are loved and that we will stand up for them and so they can seek for themselves,” he said, the report said.
His promotion of transgenderism, which by science can’t happen since being male or female is embedded in the body down to the DNA level, came during a White House event where he signed a bill that has raised concerns for its allowance of leftist attacks on Christian organizations and individuals for their belief in traditional, man-and-woman marriage.
Biden claimed that that law strikes “a blow against hate.”
He fretted that states or communities that don’t allow extreme surgeries on children are a threat to their “inclusive” agendas.
“When hospitals, libraries, and community centers are threatened and intimidated because they support LGBTQ children and families, we have to speak out,” he said.
