Leaked video shows Biden admit Iran nuclear deal is ‘dead,’ regime already has ‘a nuclear weapon’

One of President Joe Biden’s top priorities has been to revive the failed Iran nuclear deal, formerly known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or JCPOA, that was agreed to under former President Barack Obama in 2015 but withdrawn from by former President Donald Trump in 2018.

Now video has been leaked of Biden himself acknowledging that efforts to renew the JCPOA were “dead” and that Iran likely already possessed a nuclear weapon that the deal was supposed to prevent them from obtaining, the Conservative Brief reported.

The JCPOA, which was flawed and doomed to fail from its inception, essentially traded away sanctions relief for the Iranian regime in exchange for its unverifiable promises to artificially constrain its nuclear enrichment program and refrain from producing nuclear-capable weapons.

Iran deal is “dead” and they already have “a nuclear weapon”

The stunning admission from President Biden that his efforts to revive the Iran nuclear deal were already “dead” came following a Nov. 4 campaign event in Oceanside, California with Rep. Mike Levin (D-CA) as the president greeted people along the rope line, which was caught on a cell phone camera.

As Biden greeted a group of Iranian Americans at the event, one woman asked, “President Biden, can you please announce that JCPOA is dead? Can you just announce that?”

But Biden said “No,” and when asked why, replied, “A lot of reasons. It is dead, but we’re not gonna announce it.”

The woman then pleaded, “We just don’t want any deals with the Mullahs. They don’t represent us,” to which Biden said in return, “I know they don’t represent you. But they have a nuclear weapon they’ll represent.”

Reviving JCPOA is “not on our agenda,” Kirby says

According to the Daily Mail, the cell phone video of Biden shockingly saying the JCPOA negotiations were “dead” and that Iran already possessed “a nuclear weapon” was initially shared online by Iranian activist Damon Maghsoudi, whereupon it was further shared by French journalist Armin Arefi.

The outlet noted that, in response to the leaked video, White House National Security spokesman John Kirby declined to overtly confirm that the Iran nuclear deal was “dead” but did reveal that it is no longer a top priority being actively pursued at the moment.

“The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action is just not our focus. Right now. And it’s not on our agenda. We simply don’t see a deal coming together anytime soon while Iran continues to kill its own citizens and selling UAVs to Russia,” Kirby said.

When asked to clarify if the deal truly was dead, he added, “There is no progress happening with respect to the Iran deal now. We don’t anticipate any progress anytime in the near future.”

A game-changer, if true

If, as Biden appeared to acknowledge, Iran has already achieved the creation of a nuclear weapon, then there really is no longer any point to the JCPOA and any efforts to revive it would be akin to closing the barn door after the horses have escaped.

Should that be the case, the Biden administration ought to be straightforward with the American people and its allies in the Middle East, as a nuclear-armed Iranian regime is absolutely a game changer that must be addressed without delay, lest the Mullahs decide to make use of such a weapon to unleash its genocidal plans.
