Biden repeatedly interrupted by hecklers during divisive speech attacking Trump supporters

President Joe Biden delivered a highly partisan primetime speech Thursday evening — one that was billed beforehand as non-political — in which he furiously attacked and demonized his political opponents, namely former President Donald Trump and the “MAGA Republicans” who support him.

Biden’s “dark and divisive speech” did not go off without a hitch, though, as he was repeatedly interrupted by hecklers outside of the audience with explicit chants like “f— Joe Biden” and other phrases, the Daily Wire reported.

The spate of verbal attacks against the president paled in comparison, however, to the full-on offensive Biden launched against a sizeable portion of his own fellow American citizens that he incessantly derided and denounced as violent extremists and insurrectionists bent on destroying democracy.

Trump supporters are a dire threat to the nation, Biden claims

President Biden delivered his speech on the “continued battle for the soul of the nation” outside of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Thursday and used the occasion to viciously assault his political opponents as a dangerous and imminent “threat” to the nation that must be confronted and defeated at all costs.

“Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,” Biden said. He immediately added a caveat that “not every Republican” is an extremist, but then proceeded to ignore his own state exception as he proceeded to rhetorically eviscerate all who disagree with him ideologically.

“But there is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country,” the president warned.

A few moments later, while accusing the GOP of supporting a failed “insurrection” that “placed a dagger to the throat of our democracy,” Biden was heckled with the “F— Joe Biden” chant as he said, “And they see their MAGA failure to stop a peaceful transfer of power after the 2020 election as preparation for the 2022 and 2024 elections. They tried everything last time to nullify the votes of 81 million people. This time, they’re determined to succeed in thwarting the will of the people.”

More interruptions of Biden’s projection of hatred

There were other interruptions throughout Biden’s speech, including via heckler with a bullhorn at one point, and toward the end his supremely partisan but “not political” speech, according to The Hill, as he intoned on “democracy” a dozen or so times, he actually briefly paused his prepared remarks to address the “outrageous” opposition he and the audience could hear from the sidelines.

“Notwithstanding those folks you hear on the other side there. They’re entitled to be outrageous. This is a democracy,” Biden said, then insultingly added a sentence later, “good manners is nothing they’ve ever suffered from.”

Reuters White House correspondent Jeff Mason noted that particular remark and tweeted, “‘Good manners is nothing they’ve ever suffered from,’ @POTUS says about protesters at his speech, in which he accused former President Trump and ‘MAGA Republicans’ of threatening the foundation of U.S. democracy. The White House said earlier today the speech was not political.”

Contrary to the prior White House claims, Biden’s speech was purely and wholeheartedly political, was a far cry from the supposed “unity” he repeatedly vowed to bring in his presidency, and for all intents and purposes amounted to a sort of declaration of war against his partisan opposition.
