‘What’s really going on here?’: Hannity questions why Biden has Kamala Harris doing ‘his job’ on foreign policy

Who’s really in charge of U.S. foreign policy right now? Fox News host Sean Hannity thinks it may not be President Joe Biden.

According to Fox News, the prime-time star cited a “shocking” report from Politico in a monologue this week questioning whether Biden has pawned off his diplomatic duties on his vice president, Kamala Harris.

“According to a new shocking Politico report, Vice President Harris is quickly being prepped to take the foreign policy reins from the Biden administration,” Hannity said.

An up-and-coming replacement?

Politico’s report reveals Harris has been meeting with foreign leaders.

“Biden is now reportedly encouraging his vice president to engage directly with world leaders — that would be his job — and by the way, even develop her own rapport with U.S. allies,” Hannity said this week, according to Fox.

“Harris has also been meeting weekly with Secretary of State Anthony Blinken,” the Fox host added. “So the question tonight is, why?”

Many have speculated that Biden may not be cognitively up to the task of running the country, and this development only adds fuel to that fire. “If Joe Biden is not up to the task, well, we know that he rarely appears in public, we know that he takes very few questions. We know he hasn’t even scheduled a joint session of Congress for the State of the Union address,” Hannity said.

He went on: “We can all see with our own eyes that Joe is frail, he is weak, and yes, he’s struggling cognitively.”

“What’s really going on here?”

Worse still for Uncle Joe: reports are swirling that congressional Democrats have asked the president to relinquish sole control of the nation’s nuclear arsenal.

“Even a few dozen Democrats now are trying to take away the nuclear codes from Joe Biden so it’s not in the hands of just him, one person,” Hannity said this week, according to Fox. “And his vice president now holding one on one calls with other world leaders.”

But there’s another possible explanation for Biden’s decision to put Harris at the forefront of his foreign policy: the president may be teeing his VP up for a White House run of her own.

In any case, Hannity wants answers. “What’s really going on here? Who’s in charge?” he pressed. “And by the way, should we be concerned?”
