Former Vice President Joe Biden is getting nervous about the allegations regarding his son, Hunter Biden, and now he is deflecting by hurling insults at others.
When asked if he was worried about the information that President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, claims to have found on the subject, Biden charged the former mayor with being a “thug,” Breitbart reported.
Walls closing in
Rudy Giuliani claims to have stacks of information that will nail Hunter and Joe Biden to the wall. For months, he has offered to bring the information forward, and recently, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) offered to take him up on that promise.
Nobody knows how reliable the information is going to be, and Attorney General Bill Barr has even voiced skepticism about the validity of anything coming out of Ukraine due to its record of corruption.
Even so, Graham is advocating for the Senate Intelligence Committee to look at the information and launch an investigation into the corruption in which the Bidens were alleged to have been involved.
Giuliani recently gave interviews in which he also stated that he has memos, apparently from administration officials, that will corroborate the information he will eventually bring to the table.
The fact that this information is now headed to Congress has grabbed national headlines at the very same time that Joe Biden’s campaign appears to be collapsing. After a terrible performance in Iowa and New Hampshire, Biden is trying to do damage control.
Deny, deny, deny
Up to this point, nobody has really done a proper investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings. This has enabled Joe Biden to cry foul about the wave of accusations against himself and his son, stating that the unfolding scandal is all Trump’s doing and thereby illegitimate.
During the interview on CBS’ This Morning in which Biden called Giuliani a “thug,” he also stated, “I expect Trump to do the same exact thing he’s been doing,” continuing:
Why’s he been attacking me from the beginning? Why did he risk — and he should have been impeached — why did he risk getting convicted by going to a foreign leader to say you don’t have to give me anything on Biden, there’s nothing to get, just tell me you’re going to investigate him so I can hurt him. Have you ever seen a sitting president as concerned about a single nominee and trying to stop a nominee?
Although the Democrat narrative surrounding the exposure of the Biden family’s shady business dealings in Ukraine has always been to argue that Trump is attempting to destroy his 2020 competition, Joe Biden has hamstrung his campaign all on his own.
Biden isn’t the nominee, and he has never stood a realistic change of claiming that title, regardless of what the media establishment wanted Americans to believe.
He was for a time the frontrunner in one of the most crowded and fractured Democrat primary races in recent history, and now that electoral contests in individual states are in full swing, it’s clear that the voters themselves are abandoning Biden in droves, regardless of what he may or may not have done in Ukraine.
