President Joe Biden and his administration are grossly incompetent regarding all matters related to the illegal immigration crisis at the southern U.S. border.
According to Breitbart, amid a massive, dangerous surge of illegals pouring into Eagle Pass, Texas, the Biden administration, through Customs and Border Protection (CBP), ordered the shutdown of "Eagle Pass International Bridge 1, and the second busiest international railway crossing in Texas."
The shutdown of the legal point of entry, which commuters and workers depend on daily for their livelihoods, was the administration's asinine response to illegals coming into Texas.
The Biden administration was criticized for the ridiculous move, which caused traffic jams and total chaos for legal entry and exit to the United States, while essentially ignoring the thousands of illegals who swim across the river and are guided to safety once they touch American soil.
The Biden administration has lost total control of the southern border, willfully it seems, and continues to make terrible decisions that make absolutely no sense.
CBP issued a statement on the closure of the legal point of entry, noting that it was due to agents being pulled to assist at other areas of the border where they essentially hold the hands of illegal aliens trying to get into America.
"Beginning this afternoon, CBP’s Office of Field Operations will temporarily suspend vehicle processing operations at Bridge 1 and the international railway crossing bridge in Eagle Pass, Texas in order to redirect personnel to assist the U.S. Border Patrol with taking migrants into custody," the statement read.
CBP added, "In response to this influx in encounters, we will continue to surge all available resources to expeditiously and safely process migrants. We will maximize consequences against those without a legal basis to remain in the United States. CBP will continue to prioritize our border security mission as necessary in response to this evolving situation."

Many who depend on the bridge were forced to stay with family or friends until the bridge is reopened.
Those who depend on the bridge will have to wait an undisclosed amount of time for it to reopen, as the mayor of Eagle Pass, Rolando Salinas, explained to Breitbart that he received word the bridge would be closed indefinitely.
The situation will soon turn even more dangerous for American citizens.

According to a source within Customs and Border Protection not authorized to speak to the media, the Border Patrol will conduct mass releases of migrants into the United States to reduce overcrowding caused by the recent surge in Eagle Pass.'
Clearly, the Biden administration simply doesn't care about the continued nightmare at the southern U.S. border.
