Barr says surveillance explanations are not adding up

James Comey just got another reason to buy more antacid over the weekend.

Attorney General William Barr stated things “are just not jiving” when it comes to the explanations he has received for conducting surveillance against the Trump campaign.

Uh Oh

James Comey has been going off the deep end defending himself against allegations of wrongdoing. He has repeatedly stated he welcomes an investigation into the beginnings of the Russia probe.

Well, Barr has taken him up on that challenge and the so far, things to do not look good for Comey.

Barr stated, “I assumed I’d get answers when I went in and I have not gotten answers that are well satisfactory, and if fact, probably have more questions.” Barr went on to say “some of the facts that … I’ve learned don’t hang together with the official explanation.”

The new attorney general stated this has created cause for concern and demands further investigation.

Bending the Rules

There is little doubt right now that plenty of rules were bent during this probe. The question is if they were bent to the point they were actually broken.

One of the facts we know right now is that classified information was leaked to the media. The individual that leaked that information is believed to be Peter Strzok.

Even so, the Justice Department for some reason is not going to prosecute.

James Comey is also believed to have leaked some key information. We also know key exculpatory evidence was kept secret during the FISA warrant process.

Additionally, the Steele dossier was used to support the warrants even though the information in the report was largely uncorroborated.

The house of cards James Comey erected to protect himself is being systematically destroyed in front of Comey’s face. Our money is on William Barr sending all of those cards scattering very soon and Comey finally being brought to justice.
