Hannity says Barr’s speech on ‘Resistance’ foreshadows findings on origins of Russia probe

Attorney General Bill Barr recently made a speech in which Fox Host Sean Hannity thinks Barr let it slip that there may be some serious findings coming forth from the investigations into the origins of the Russia collusion probe.

Barr slammed Democrats for their political zealotry in the speech, and Hannity believes that Barr’s description of the Democrat “Resistance” refers to the underpinnings of the Russia collusion probe and that the speech is a “preview of coming attractions,” he said in a video posted to his Facebook page.

Active sabotage

Speaking at the Federalist Society’s National Lawyers Convention, Barr said Democrats were waging a “scorched-earth, no-holds-barred war” against the president, according to the Washington Examiner.

This behavior is undeniable as Democrats have been extremely open about their “Resistance” movement in opposition to Donald Trump. Many on the left to this day refuse to accept that Trump was the democratically elected candidate. Many hang on to the delusion that Trump stole the election from Hillary Clinton simply because she won the popular vote.

“‘Resistance’ is the language used to describe insurgency against rule imposed by an occupying military power.  It obviously connotes that the government is not legitimate.  This is a very dangerous – indeed incendiary – notion to import into the politics of a democratic republic,” Barr said.

He went on: “They essentially see themselves as engaged in a war to cripple, by any means necessary, a duly elected government.”

Attempted coup

Hannity declared: “It sounds pretty clear to me that he [Barr] has discovered serious corruption, serious abuse of power in his investigation into the origins of the Russia ‘witch hunt.’

“Pay very close attention to what you just saw, because I see every indication there that the attorney general fully, completely understands what is a clear and present danger to this country — a people that abuse power and people that are corrupt at the highest levels are not held accountable,” Hannity added.

He continued: “I’d predict in the coming months if I were one of these Deep State bureaucrats and operatives that was actively working against the president of the United States…I’d be very worried tonight, because when the attorney general compares you to the insurgency… I believe, something major is about to happen, and it won’t be good for Deep State operatives.”

The Democrats are carrying out their ultimate act of resistance in attempting to remove President Trump from office.

After the Russia collusion probe ended fruitlessly, Democrats have tried to utilize a constitutional process meant to remove presidents found guilty of a serious crime.

But as the public hearings have shown, Democrats have no evidence against President Trump. The best they have managed to produce is out-of-context hearsay that has been refuted time and time again.
