Alec Baldwin mocked after wife admits to having lied about Spanish heritage

Actor Alec Baldwin has enjoyed a resurgence in his career based almost entirely upon his bitter and mocking impersonation of President Donald Trump, who Baldwin has asserted is a dishonest fraud who has conned a substantial portion of the American people.

It was revealed over the weekend, however, that it is Baldwin himself, or more accurately he and his wife Hilaria Baldwin, who have been dishonestly defrauding the American people for years with regard to her heritage and where she was born, The Daily Wire reported.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the angry and explicit actor is now verbally assaulting anyone on social media who criticized him and his wife for having lied to the public for so long about something so irrelevant as her birthplace and family heritage.

Hilaria responds

The uproar appears to have begun when a Twitter user posted a thread of tweets — which are protected from being viewed by most users — that called out Hilaria for having impersonated a Spanish person by falsely claiming to have been born and raised in Spain.

The user further claimed to have known Hilaria, who was actually born in Boston, Massachusetts, at Cambridge School in Weston when she went by the name of “Hilary Hayward-Thomas” and did not speak with a Spanish accent.

The tweet thread prompted a reply from Hilaria Baldwin on Instagram, who wrote, “I’ve seen chatter online questioning my identity and culture. This is something I take very seriously, and for those who are asking — I’ll reiterate my story, as I’ve done many times before.”

“I was born in Boston and grew up spending time with my family between Massachusetts and Spain,” she acknowledged.

She continued, “My parents and sibling live in Spain and I chose to live here, in the USA. We celebrate both cultures in our home — Alec and I are raising our children bilingual, just as I was raised. This is very important to me. I understand that my story is a little different, but it is mine, and I’m very proud of it.”

Fraudulent biography scrubbed

Even that admission isn’t exactly the full truth, however, as the New York Post’s Page Six reported that “Hilaria” was indeed born in Boston as Hillary Thomas Hayward, the daughter of American-born and Boston-raised parents David Thomas and Dr. Kathryn Hayward, who were themselves born of American-born parents and have lineages that date back to pre-Revolutionary War Massachusetts.

As for the claim that her parents live in Spain, that has been true only since 2011, when they retired to the Spanish city of Mallorca when Hilaria was already 27-years-old.

Page Six also reported that the author, motivational speaker, and yoga instructor’s biography with the Creative Artists Agency had been quietly scrubbed of her fraudulent claims in the midst of the social media uproar.

Previously, the site noted that “Baldwin was born in Mallorca, Spain and raised in Boston, Massachusetts,” but now only lists her resume of work.
