Stormy Daniels’ attorney has been plastered all over the media in 2018, and now we know why.
Michael Avenatti stunned Americans on Wednesday when he announced he is considering running for president in 2020.
IF (big) he seeks re-election, I will run, but only if I think that there is no other candidate in the race that has a REAL chance at beating him. We can’t relive 2016. I love this country, our values and our people too much to sit by while they are destroyed. #FightClub #Basta

If you thought the 2016 presidential election was a circus, the 2020 presidential election with Michael Avenatti would set a new standard.
In Avenatti’s own words: “I think it would be an extremely contentious campaign, no holds barred, and very close.”
Well, he got two out of three right, anyway.
Avenatti has proven over the last couple of months, there is no depth too low for him to explore.
He is supposed to be representing his client, but his clear motive by taking the case is to get his name out there for personal gain.
More than a few legal pundits have stated his behavior in the case against Trump is reprehensible, even for an attorney.
He Got One Thing Right
For all that Avenatti has gotten wrong, he did hit one point on the head.
If someone is going to beat Trump on the Democrat ticket, it will have to be new blood.
If the Democrats continue to run out the same old names with the same old platforms, they have ZERO chance of challenging Trump in the 2020 election.
However, to avoid looking like complete hypocrites, it will have to be new blood within the party.
The Democrats hammered home the point that someone without political experience cannot be a successful president during the 2016 election.
To pivot and run an identical candidate to Trump, the left side of the aisle would all but hand the election to the man currently in the White House.
To that point, go ahead and run Mr. Avenatti — because that would just about ensure another four years of Trump as president.
