Any honest person would have to agree that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has uttered her fair share of weird and ridiculous things since she’s been in office, but her latest rant takes the proverbial cake.
According to Fox News, the progressive “Squad” leader, in the wake of being heavily criticized for her vacation getaway in the free state of Florida, claimed that she was only being criticized because of Republicans’ “sexual frustrations” that they can’t “date” her.
AOC went on to insist that all of the disapproval she receives from those on the right somehow means that her GOP critics need “therapy.”
Her bizarre rant came on the heels of former Trump campaign advisor Steve Cortes taking a shot at the New York liberal in a picture showing her and her husband hanging out in Miami over the holidays.
Cortes made a simple and accurate point that Democrats, like Ocasio-Cortez, who critiqued Florida on several occasions over the COVID-19 pandemic and the state’s rules, seems to be the vacation destination for the very same group, given that Florida still allows people to enjoy themselves without vaccine passports or dumb, ineffective masking rules.
He also took a shot at her boyfriend’s feet and sandals, which AOC twisted into something on a whole new level of weirdness.
1. If Leftists like AOC actually thought mandates and masking worked, they wouldn’t be frolicking in free FL.
2. Her guy is showing his gross pale male feet in public (not at a pool/beach) with hideous sandals.

AOC responded to the tweet by writing: “If Republicans are mad they can’t date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s feet. Ya creepy weirdos.”
“It’s starting to get old ignoring the very obvious, strange, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, women,& LGBT+ people in general. These people clearly need therapy, won’t do it, and use politics as their outlet instead. It’s really weird,” the New York progressive wrote in a follow-up.
Begging for money
Though the people within Ocasio-Cortez’s home district in New York City — where even with the strictest of COVID-19 rules the case counts continue to skyrocket — are suffering, that didn’t stop the congresswoman from using her resources to flee the state for a nice Florida getaway.
Even while in the Sunshine State, AOC’s campaign sent out a fundraising email asking for money, which many criticized as the congresswoman not being able to read the room, as inflation continues to soar and normal, non-elite American citizens wonder if they’ll be able to afford their basic needs.
Ocasio-Cortez might not be in jeopardy of losing her seat in her solidly blue district, but if she continues to remain so far out of touch with everyday citizens of any political stripe, she might find eventually that they aren’t fond of the hypocrisy.
