President Joe Biden and his administration are in a full-blown panic over inflation and especially the rising cost of fuel. According to recent remarks made by the 46th president, he’s apparently quite upset that he’s being blamed for the situation, even though it’s absolutely mostly his fault.
According to Breitbart, on Thursday, during a speech to House Democrats, Biden became visibly angry and asserted that he’s “sick” of being blamed for inflation and high fuel costs while continuing the White House’s false narrative that 100% of the blame is on Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I’m sick of this stuff… The American people think the reason for inflation is the government spending more money,” Biden, who was visibly upset, said. “Simply. Not. True.”
“Democrats didn’t cause this problem. Vladimir Putin did,” the president added.
Midterm fears
Democrats quickly replaced their COVID-19 hysteria with the Ukraine-Russia conflict, and though every government chart says otherwise, they’re pushing lies about the reasons for the increased inflation as they likely fear the backlash that the party will experience in November of this year.
Dem candidates were already expected to take an absolute beating in the 2022 midterms, as the economy took a very noticeable dive as a result of the Biden administration’s policies, but now it’s all but guaranteed that the party will take heavy losses.
That’s not to mention Biden’s embarrassingly low approval ratings, which also affect Democratic candidates down the ticket.
For instance, a recent poll revealed that a staggering 63% of Americans disapprove of Biden’s handling of the economy and inflation. That poll echoes many others that have been recently conducted, which clearly explain why Democrats, including the president, are desperately attempting to blame anything other than their own policies.
Putin blame game
Biden used the opportunity to push, on several occasions, the new narrative that Putin is to blame for all of America’s current economic problems.
“From the moment he put his over 150,000 troops on the Ukrainian border, the price of gasoline in January went up 75 cents,” the president said of Putin, failing to point out that gas prices began to rise within days of Biden’s inauguration.
“Make no mistake, inflation is largely the fault of Putin,” Biden said, as he struggled through his angry tirade.
Many believe that Biden’s ticked-off rant was one of the most obvious signs of desperation at the party enters full panic mode heading into November. Whether American voters will buy the falsehoods or not is anyone’s guess, but either way, it appears as if the Democrats will likely leave Biden as a lame-duck president for the next two years.
