Allies warn Trump could lose to Joe Biden in November: Reports

The people of this country elected Donald Trump because they wanted to drain the swamp, and because they wanted a leader to stand up to Democrats.

But while Trump has kept many of his promises and does his best to stand up to Dems, both Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon believe Trump’s campaign is in real trouble right now, according to reports from the Washington Examiner.

He told you…

On the 2016 campaign trail, Trump touted himself as someone who would stand up to Dems, and he’s done his best on that front. But there have been times when a lack of support from party members has allowed Democrats to run over the GOP agenda — and that has clearly hurt the president with his base.

If things don’t change — and soon — Joe Biden is the man we will be calling president come January, according to Carlson.

“Not many people are saying it out loud on the right. But the fact is that President Trump could well lose this election,” the Fox host said on Thursday’s episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight, according to the Examiner.

He went on: “In fact, unless fundamental facts change soon, it could be tough for him to be re-elected.”

Carlson admitted that “nobody watching this show tonight wants to hear that, but it’s true, and key people around the president know that it’s true. They’ve seen the numbers,” he said, as the Examiner reported.

President Joe Biden

Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon, for his part, expressed similar concerns, stating that the president needs to stop acting like Trump the candidate and start acting like Trump the president.

Rallies and such worked great in 2016, but now Trump that holds the office, he needs to let his actions and record speak for itself, Bannon argued.

“We don’t need rallies. We need the president five days a week out there doing those types of things, showing people he as president is the driver of action,” he said, according to the Examiner.

“He’s the president of the United States,” Bannon added, as the Examiner reported. “He’s not a candidate. You act like president of the United States, you take action like the president of the United States, you govern like you are president of the United States, you are going to be re-elected.”

This is all bad news for Trump, but there’s still time to turn the ship around. We’ll have to wait and see if the president heeds pundits’ warnings.
