ABC News reports that act Jonathan Majors - known for such films as Creed III and Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania - has been arrested.
Majors, according to the outlet, is now facing charges of strangulation, harassment, and assault.
The incident, according to the New York Police Department (NYPD), took place on Saturday morning.
Just after 11:00 a.m., officers were called to a possible domestic dispute situation that took place in an apartment building located in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City.
The accuser and alleged victim, thus far, is only being identified as a 30-year-old woman. Her relationship to Majors remains unclear. But, this individual told the NYPD officers when they arrived that Majors had assaulted her.
Police officers did observe injuries on the woman that could be consistent with an assault. The injuries, which have been described by the officers as "minor," were to the woman's head and neck. The woman is said to have been taken to the hospital, where she was listed as being in "stable condition."

A preliminary investigation determined that a 33-year-old male was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30 year-old female. The victim informed police she was assaulted. Officers placed the 33-year-old male into custody without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition.
According to the NYPD's statement, Majors was arrested without incident. He has been charged with strangulation, harassment, and assault, which provides further insight into the victim's allegations.
Majors is reported to no longer be in police custody. He is said to have been released as of Saturday night.
Majors has denied the victim's allegations. He maintains that he has done nothing wrong.
A spokesperson of his put out a statement, saying, "[Majors] has done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up."
Reports have yet to indicate where the case will go from here.
Majors' acting career has seemingly been on the rise as of late.
As alluded to at the outset, Majors has recently been featured in a number of big films, including Creed III, where he played Damian Anderson, and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, where he played Kang the Conquerer. Majors' latest film is titled Magazine Dreams, and it is expected to come to theaters in early December.
