Radical leftist pro-abortion activists target Speaker Pelosi’s house for protest over failure to protect abortion

A radical pro-abortion group has been staging angry protests outside the homes of Supreme Court justices following the leak last week of a draft opinion in an abortion case that would overturn 1973’s Roe v. Wade precedent and return the right to regulate the procedures to the individual states.

Democrats have not condemned the potentially unlawful demonstrations — in fact, the protests have been praised — but now top Democrat and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has received a taste of the same medicine as the activist group has now targeted her own home for protest, Fox News reported.

That extremist group is known as Ruth Sent Us — even though late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg would not have approved their tactics — and they have singled out Pelosi for not having done enough as a Democratic leader to protect abortion rights at the federal level and for not investigating alleged misdeeds by Republican-appointed members of the Supreme Court.

“Careless and cowardly” Pelosi “complicit” in overturn of Roe v. Wade

In a thread of tweets that began Monday, the radical pro-abortion group posted a flier that urged Speaker Pelosi to “save abortion” and “investigate the corrupt justices” and announced a planned protest outside Pelosi’s San Franciso home in California. The flier also featured caricatures of the five Republican jurists believed to have voted in favor of overturning Roe v. Wade and labeled each a “liar” among other accusations.

“We have had careless and cowardly representation by [Pelosi],” the group continued. “The GOP followed a scorched earth strategy with endless Benghazi hearings and ACA repeals, but she passed endless bills that lay on [Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell’s] desk and refused to hold hearings on TRUMPIAN crimes.”

The thread then reiterated the baseless and unproven accusations against Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearing and, following that, returned the attention back to Pelosi and wrote, “She held ZERO hearings into Kavanaugh’s crimes and perjury. Imagine if she had. Would this creep be on the Court, daring to overturn Roe?”

The activists closed out the thread with a post that accused Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas — more specifically, Thomas’ wife Ginni — of being involved in planning the “coup” that was the Jan. 6 Capitol riot in 2021, and asserted, “Sixteen months later, ZERO investigations or subpoenas into these crooks. If Dems ever forced real accountability, would these “Justices” be so bold today?”

Abortion is Pelosi’s “most effective fundraising tool,” protesters accurately claim

The New York Post reported that the planned protest of Speaker Pelosi’s San Francisco home was held Tuesday afternoon, and though only a handful of radical pro-abortion activists actually showed up, they nonetheless made their presence known while accusing the decidedly pro-choice Democratic House Speaker of being “complicit” in Republican efforts to overturn Roe.

One unnamed protester with a bullhorn addressed Pelosi’s “legacy” and said, “Thirty-five years of your reign of terror, you had a super-majority under [President Barack] Obama, under which this should have been your top priority,” and added, “Why did you keep this on the table? Because this is your most effective fundraising tool — that’s why.”

The Post noted that this same activist group, Ruth Sent Us, is responsible for the protests that have occurred outside the homes of the five conservative justices — protests that Democrats have approved with a wink and nod but which may be in violation of a federal statute that makes it a crime to “picket and parade” in an obstructive manner outside a court or private residence with an intent to influence or intimidate a judge.

Of course, with Pelosi being in Washington D.C. instead of her California home, perhaps the group of protesters should consider staging their protests at the Capitol building or the Speaker’s D.C. residence — unless, that is, Democrats suddenly do an about-face and denounce the pro-abortion protests now that it isn’t just Republicans bearing the brunt of leftist activist outrage.
