Democrats in Colorado and Maine, fearing what another term for President Donald Trump would bring to their political agenda, already have tried to remove him from the 2024 ballot.

Now a judge in Illinois formally has ordered the state to interfere in the race, issuing a mandate to "suppress" votes for Trump.

The fight, of course, already is pending before the U.S. Supreme Court, and the rulings in Maine in Colorado are on hold. The Illinois political activism by Cook County Circuit Judge Tracie Porter is expected to end up in the same situation.

Porter's order that officials interfere in the election came only a few weeks after the Illinois State Board of Elections refused to make the same move.

A report at Fox News said Porter's interference mandate would if it eventually stands, remove Trump from the state's 2024 Republican primary ballot. Or have those votes suppressed?

Porter is demanding that the board remove Trump from the ballot or "cause any votes cast for him to be suppressed."

The judge claims that Trump violated section three of the 14th Amendment because he engaged in "insurrection" on Jan. 6, 2021, when a few hundred people protesting what they viewed as a corrupted election rioted at the Capitol.

However, the decision came without any of the ordinary requirements, because Trump never has been charged with inciting insurrection, much less convicted.

The facts are that the election results are suspect, as Mark Zuckerberg handed out $400 million plus to various election officials to influence the results. They used the money largely to recruit Biden supporters. Further, the FBI interfered when it told media corporations to suppress accurate reporting about Biden family scandals found in a laptop computer abandoned by Hunter Biden. A later poll showed had that information routinely been reported, enough voters would have withdrawn their support for Biden so he almost certainly would have lost the election.

A Trump campaign official said an appeal of the Illinois activism will be filed.

The constitutional amendment bars former officeholders who "engaged in insurrection" from holding public office again, and was adopted following the Civil War.

However, Trump has not been charged with any such offense, much less been convicted, meaning the three states attempting to bar Trump are moving outside of ordinary court procedures in their attempts to attack Trump.

Trump likely will be the GOP nominee in the 2024 race, but leftists have organized multiple court cases and charged forward with their "insurrection" claims in their schemes to keep Trump from winning, a result polls show is likely.

They claim the Capitol riots were an attempted insurrection, in which critics tried to take over the government, its military, its economy, and its foreign policy, with candidates prepared to move into all of the top federal government offices.
