Christine Blasey Ford is having a hard time getting someone to back up her story.
Now, the fourth person Ford identified at as present at the “party” where she alleges Judge Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her has stated she has no recollection whatsoever of the event.
In baseball, one gets three strikes before they are out.
Ford was given an extra strike and she still has not managed to get the ball in play.
Judge Kavanaugh’s accuser has named four individuals as being at the party.
Each and every one of them has stated they have no recollection of the events as Ford laid them out.
The latest person, Leland Ingham Keyser, was the one most thought had the most promise.
Ford has referred to another girl at the party, and Ms. Keyser is that person.
However, after her name was made public, a statement was released denying Keyser ever knew Kavanaugh, let alone attended a party with him.
Attorney Howard J. Walsh III stated, “Simply put, Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford.”
Scrambling for Cover
Ford’s attorney immediately stated he was not surprised by her statement.
According to her attorney, Debra Katz, “It’s not surprising that Ms. Keyser has no recollection of the evening as they did not discuss it. It’s also unremarkable that Ms. Keyser does not remember attending a specific gathering 30 years ago at which nothing of consequence happened to her.”
“Dr. Ford, of course, will never forget this gathering because of what happened to here there,” Katz added.
Ford has been tentatively scheduled to testify before a Senate committee on Wednesday or Thursday.
At this point, though, there is absolutely no reason to believe her allegations will be anything more than a blip on the screen of Kavanaugh’s legacy.
