illIt has gotten tougher for illegal migrants to cross the Southern border that connects the United States and Mexico since the 2016 presidential election.
This week 13 people found out just how tough it is to sneak into America now that President Donald Trump took office.
Rather than cross the border directly, a practice that has become increasingly tough, these 13 undocumented migrants decided to take to the sea in an attempt to go around the border.
What they did not expect was that their engine would fail and leave them stranded.
The people on board started paddling with oars, but it was to no avail as they were spotted and captured by the Coast Guard, NBC San Diego reported.
The craft was spotted around 6:45 a.m. on Saturday off the coast of the Children’s Pool La Jolla and the 13 residents of Mexico on board were detained.
The Coast Guard took the passengers, 12 men and one woman, to the San Diego Fire-Rescue (SDFD) Lifeguards headquarters.
Change Is Coming.
The bust of the migrants occurred on Saturday, days before President Trump is scheduled to come to the area to review border wall prototypes.
And the city of San Diego has made preparations for both the president, and those who are expected to protest him.
“In preparation for demonstrations and in an effort to protect the rights of citizens to peacefully protest, the Sheriff has requested and been granted ‘Temporary Area Restrictions,’ the San Diego Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.
What are these people protesting? Do they have any idea?
Is the case they are making that they want more people illegally sneaking into the United States and violating the nation’s immigration laws?
Or are the just still stuck on protesting the fact that President Trump curb stomped their ruler in waiting and crushed their dreams of watching a Queen Hillary Clinton coronation in January 2017?
If Guinness had a record for longest temper tantrum “The Resistance” would win in a landslide.
Sadly for them it is the only thing they are capable of winning.
